The Store
Play D8 LLC is more than just a play center, we also have a store located inside our facility hosting local vendors and businesses along with a Baby & Children's Clothing boutique, 5 Little Ducks Co. This will give parents and caregivers the opportunity to shop other local businesses while their children are occupied.
Event Space
Our event space can be rented out for Private Parties and special events. When not reserved it also serves as a place our guests can use during open play. Hello, my name is Kellie Maher and I am the owner of Play D8 LLC. I am a local to the area, I was raised in Truxton, NY and now live in McGraw, NY with my family. I am a momma to 4 small kids, I have an almost 5 year old, a 2 1/2 year old and 1 year old twins. When the twins were born I had 4 under 4! I also own and operate 5 Little Ducks Co, a baby & children's clothing boutique offing sizes 3M- 12 Yr.
Play D8 has been a dream of mine for about 5 years. I came up with the concept and business name shorty after I became a Mom myself in February 2019. Becoming a mom for the first time I realized how isolating it can be especially in those early years. Those years before sports, school, friends, and having a million place to go. Those years when the kids are just a bit young for just about everything. I longed for a place to go especially in the colder months. A place I felt comfortable and safe bringing my baby or toddler, where I didn't have to worry about what they were touching or breaking or doing. After visiting family out of town and going to indoor play centers with our kids that were near them in Maryland, I knew this is what was missing in this area. It became a business plan I worked on and something I dreamed about, not as just having a business but mostly it was because I was a mom and knew how important having a place like this would be.
Fast forward 5 years (and 3 MORE kids later), we are finally here! This dream, this vision I have had is finally a reality and I am so excited to share it with all of you. This place is designed with our children in mind, but more than that, this place is for all of us - growing a community of parents and caregivers. I hope you feel welcome and at home here and I hope you and your children can feel my love and my heart that I have poured in this space.
